WHY IAMI?
The International Association of Marine Investigators is a
multidiscipline association of law enforcement and industry interests
involved in the pursuit of boating law enforcement and accident
investigation, insurance investigation and marine surveying.
The network strength of the combined experience can be accessed by any
member in the pursuit of information regarding marine theft, insurance or
technical questions.
IAMI has established a certification process to designate members who
have achieved a pre-determined level of expertise and training and have
demonstrated their knowledge by successfully passing a rigorous written
examination as Certified Marine Investigators.
There are fewer than 100 members nationwide who have achieved this
certification.
